With the ability to accurately measure when other non-contact or radical methods fail. The guided level transmitter type 2291 using GWR (conductor radar) is the solution for your level measurement needs. The radar signal is transmitted through the probe, eliminating disturbances caused by low dielectric liquids, heavy smoke, light conducting foam, internal tank obstacles, etc. The energy focuses along the probe and type 2291 can be installed in tanks with limited space. Type 2291 is also less susceptible to turbulence that normally disturbs the measurements in ultrasonic and unguided radar technology.

• general - challenging tank applications where other non-contact methods fail
• chemical process industry - storage of solvents, chlorine or ammonia, level detection in reactor vessels or buffer tanks
• water treatment - pumping stations, sludge processing, drainage level monitoring, drinking water on ships

  • RoHS conform

Application areas:

•liquids that tend to foam; eg with acid neutralization.
•For most non-coating liquids, including flammable and smoking liquids
•suitable for hydrocarbons, acids and aggressive media
